![]() ![]() ![]() The Hoppa Hotel Buses are well signed, just look up and the Hoppa Buses are signed together with the car parking and car hire shuttle buses, London Underground and Heathrow Express trains. Hoppa Buses pick up from outside the arrivals hall of each of the passenger terminals. It is also possible to use alternative free local buses to many hotels - of course this somehow isn't brought to the attention of most travellers. Heathrow is closed to passenger flights between about midnight and 5am. Heathrow Hoppa buses operate every day during the hours that flights operate. Some hotel Heathrow Hoppa buses do not serve all passenger terminals (see below). One services Terminals 2 and 3, the other Terminals 4 and 5. Terrible from start to finish, I expect my complaint to be handled exactly the same way, but here's hoping I'm proved wrong.There are two sets of routes from each hotel. In the end BusPlana helped us out for 4 of us at a cost of €16.90 each. This was less than 24 hours before we where due to depart, leaving us little time to arrange alternative plans to get from Salou to Barcelona airport. But then got an email saying the return journey had been cancelled. Regardless I thought least we are here now and can enjoy my stag do. But as I don’t speak Spanish I cannot say what he said during the gesture. I spoke to the driver to try and resolve any miscommunications that may of taken place during the journey to which he would not listen and made some sort of gesture at me. When we finally arrived at the resort he threw the bags out of the back of the vehicle causing minor damage to a few bags. His driving was erratic after this point and nearly caused an accident on more than one occasion. This was very dangerous as it could of caused an accident and injured not only our passengers but other vehicles and passengers that were passing. About 15 minutes more had passed and we asked for music to be played on radio or via our Bluetooth devices, which again he said yes but when we tried to do it he became irate and aggressive again, and pulled over on the middle of the busy highway and demanded people changed where they were seating. It was obvious at this point he did not speak much If any English. About 5-10 minutes into the journey one of the passengers went to open a drink and the driver got very aggressive and shouting in Spanish I believe. We asked the driver specifically are we allowed to drink alcohol on way to resort and if so can we run back into airport and get some alcoholic drinks to take with us and he replied yes this was fine, had he said no at this point that would of been fine as we would of known. So could of been anyone saying they had a booking. ![]() When we arrived on 15/05/19 the driver for the private minibus was waiting, however he did not wait for me with the e-ticket he just took the word of other passengers while I was still coming through passport control. But in the 4 months building up to the travel date I kept getting emails and calls saying I need to cancel and rebook everytime I had to ring up and they would reconfirm they had infact changed it manually and would stop the emails and calls telling me to cancel and rebook, they didn't stop. After I complained they manually changed the booking to the right place at no extra cost. Had problems from start to finish with this booking, first of all we booked from Barcelona airport to Salou, then a few months after the booking was made I got an email to say my booking was wrong and it was for barcelona airport to barcelona city centre, so would have to cancel and rebook, at a price that was more than £150 than I originally paid. ![]()
